Part-Time Virtual Administrative and Social Media Assistant

Position Overview:

We’re hiring a part-time virtual assistant who can help us more effectively streamline and systematise the operations of the business so we can reach thousands of more people worldwide who are ready to heal from the inside out, express their unique gifts with the world, and thrive.

Who We Are:

We are an umbrella brand founded by Fran Siebrits, wellness expert and medicine woman from South Africa, to awaken others worldwide to their unique gifts and personal power. We believe that when we tap into the true essence of who we are, we will bring forth the new world.

Through online personal development courses, wellness offerings, spiritual connection and in-person retreats around the world, we create community and share important teachings with people globally. Our goal is to serve thousands of people worldwide. Tuningin.co.za launched in 2013, and Capecacao.com a few years later. Since then we have grown to serve thousands of people, and are still growing. Our goal is to broaden our reach through creating consistent content across different platforms and to launch new offerings.

Role:

This position will work closely with Fran, our CEO, to seamlessly execute the backend of the business and the brands underneath it (Tuningin.co.za and Capecacao.com). Day-to-day responsibilities include customer service, client support, scheduling, social media management, content creation, and website maintenance. It is crucial that you are efficient in time management and are highly tech savvy.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks across our brands including answering emails, replying to comments and messages across already existing (and still to be created) social media platforms

  • Build out social media accounts: YouTube and Tik-Tok

  • Help develop and implement social media strategy, launches, and consistently post engaging content

  • Light video editing, adding subtitles to videos and posts, basic graphic design for social media posts and website assets

  • Content creation: turn live class content into shareable micro-content that can be shared across platforms. For example, watching a live class recording and grabbing quotes for Facebook, Instagram, Tok-tok, YouTube, clip to short video excerpts for these platforms, and writing captions for all content. You will also turn content into blog posts and PDF guides.

  • Website management: update content on website, build new pages (on WordPress)

  • Email Marketing: draft 2x/monthly newsletters per brand, draft and send all program related emails (on Mailchimp)

  • Financial Spreadsheets: update and manage

  • Scheduling support for Fran: manage her calendar for 1:1 sessions, workshops etc.

  • Set up invoices, forms and info capturing spreadsheet

  • Occasional light personal assistant work

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Loves social media and technology

  • Proactive

  • Self starter, independent

  • Highly organised and detail-oriented

  • Understanding of G-suite, Slack, Asana (or a similar project management tool), WordPress, Mailchimp (or a comparable email marketing platform)

  • Have experience using design tools like Canva (or other)

  • Know how to edit videos, add captions

  • Enjoys coordinating and working with a team to collaborate

  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, Tik-Tok, YouTube

  • While a background in marketing, strategy and SEO is favoured, we will still consider applications without this experience

This is a part time position (10 hours per week) with the potential to grow with time. Remuneration is commensurate based on experience and will be discussed in the interview process.
